Orthodox Christian Community

Committed for nurturing the Spiritual and Sacramental life of the faithful.

St. Thomas Orthodox Fellowship, Hyderabad, is a worshipping community for Indian Orthodox Christians living and working in and around West Hyderabad. Founded on June 30, 2011. Our Community is also a Diaspora of Keralites/ Malayalees.

We are not yet a formal parish, but a fellowship committed for nurturing the spiritual and sacramental life of those temporarily residing here for reasons of work, study, or family, and who belong to home parishes outside Hyderabad. We do not offer memberships nor we seek subscriptions.

Given the dynamic and transitory nature of our community, we do not follow the conventional parish membership model. Instead, we humbly invite all who seek to journey with us in Christ, to be part of this fellowship, free from any annual subscription or financial obligation. Each year, from April to March, our participants’ group will be renewed to include those who are currently staying in the above-mentioned areas and are not formally registered with the existing Orthodox parishes in the city.

Our focus remains to offer sincere, voluntary, and compassionate pastoral support, ensuring that no one is left spiritually isolated due to temporary relocation. With the grace of God, we celebrate the Holy Qurbana on Sundays (currently at HiTech City) and extend pastoral care through confessions, spiritual guidance, house visits, and prayer support. We also come together regularly for online prayer meetings, and Christian fellowship programs, strengthening our faith and deepening our bonds as the body of Christ.

*At present we are solely conducting worship and prayers in Malayalam language.
